Watermelon Chamomile Tea

Tea is so versatile and can be used for just about anything. For instance, if you your stomach hurts, if you cant shit, if you have high blood pressure, need to relax your mind, need to relax your skin? You can drink chamomile tea with honey! The watermelon is to make it taste more like tea and less like grass water. Listen, its my job to look up tea recipes and revamp them so they are not just healthy but tasty.

I suffer from IBS and General Anxiety Disorder. Yes, I said suffer because it is crazy! If there is a sudden emotion change, everything in my stomach falls! Its painful. So, I found a tea because I want to try a natural way to ease my symptoms before resulting to modern medicine. That’s when I found chamomile! not only does is aid in digestion, its helps with stomach aches it helps with relaxations calming those anxious thoughts of mine.

First you want to bring a pot of water got a rolling boil. I say rolling because I like my tea fast! Once your water is boiling add the honey and the chamomile. let that boil for a few minutes. Its not longer that 5 minutes for me, yall know why!

Next you want to turn the heat completely off and let the tea cool for another few minutes. while you are letting you tea cool, go ahead and grab a cup of ice and add some sweet basil. with a spoon you want to lightly smash and stir the basil and the ice to activate the basil.

Then you want to pour in your watermelon syrup and lastly, add you chamomile and honey tea. Give it a stir and enjoy!
